In the interview, Kangna Ranaut stated, "Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi are not fit for politics. They are both being forced into politics by their mother. Both siblings can do better, but they are being tortured by their mother to stay in politics."
Kangna Ranaut didn't stop here she also said that Rahul Gandhi was a victim of an "ambitious" mother, in a reference to Sonia Gandhi. Ranaut said that both Rahul Gandhi and his sister Priyanka were "pressured" and "forced" into politics by Sonia Gandhi.
The actress who became a politician said, "Rahul Gandhi is a victim of an ambitious mother. As we have seen in the film '3 Idiots', kids themselves become the victims of parivarvaad. The same situation is with Rahul Gandhi."
According to Kangna Ranaut, Rahul and Priyanka Gandhi, should have been free to live their own lives instead of being "tortured" by their mother to continue in politics.
She added that despite being above 50 years of age, Rahul Gandhi was always being "relaunched" as a young leader. "I feel he is being pressured and is very lonely," she stated.
Kangna went on to say that the Congress scion should have been free to choose a different career path, including acting.
Further, she added, "Rahul Gandhi should have done something else and maybe tried his hand at acting. He could have become a good actor. His mother is one of the richest women in the world. There is no dearth of wealth. There have been rumours that he is romantically involved with a woman but he is not getting married."
