    Digital Desk: Several exit polls have indicated a close battle between the Congress and the BJP for the 68-member Himachal Pradesh assembly. Exit polls indicate that the BJP would likely win 24–34 seats in Himachal Pradesh, while the Congress party may win 30–40 assembly seats. Exit polls have also predicted the likely winner of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) polls.


    According to pollsters, AAP will have a strong debut in terms of vote share rather than seats


    Pollsters said that the Aam Aadmi Party is set to make a strong showing in terms of vote share in the Gujarat assembly elections. However, it will not convert into seats.

    Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jairam Thakur said on Monday that the BJP has a good chance of forming a government. However, Thakur added that we should wait till the counting day.  "Many of the exit polls are showing BJP forming govt while some show a neck-to-neck fight on a few seats. We should wait until December 8. According to our analysis, there's complete possibility of BJP comfortably forming the govt," he was quoted as saying by ANI.
