Harmeet Singh Kalka elected as new DSGMC president amid the fuss
Digital Desk: On Saturday, Harmeet Singh Kalka was elected as the new president of the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC).

There was a debate among the committee members of DSGMC earlier. This confusion led to the overlooked of the polling process.

The voting procedure for the presidential elections had been halted previously after a qualified voter informed his decision publicly. Members of the board had stirred at the Rakab Ganj Gurdwara as shots to reach peace failed often.

According to information, there were disagreeing opinions on what to do concerning the vote thrown by the member in question.

A debate had even split out over the eligibility of another associate who was yet to demonstrate his ability in the Punjabi speech. It is incidentally a compulsory necessity for those aspiring to become committee associates.

"Guru Granth Sahib's sukhasan portrayed respectfully as 'sangat' was concerned too. It was already very late. We received rings, messages and tapes. Thinking it my duty, I asked everyone, I thank them for accepting my appeal," stated DSGMC Acting President Kulwant Singh Bath.

"The Director and his group accountable for conducting this election will respond. I can't answer on the same," Kulwant Singh Bath sounded earlier upon asking whether the presidential election will be executed.
