On May 24, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, and northeast Rajasthan should expect heavy rain; on May 25, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, and West Uttar Pradesh should expect moderate to heavy rain.
Moreover, on May 24 and 25, hailstorms are predicted to occur in isolated areas of Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana-Chandigarh, West Uttar Pradesh, and north Rajasthan, with hailstorms already having occurred in Himachal Pradesh on May 24.
From May 24 to May 26, Rajasthan may see dust or thunderstorms with gusty winds (40 to 50 kmph).
The plains of Northwest India should experience strong surface winds on May 24 and 25 with speeds of 25-35 kmph.
Northeast India
Light to moderate fairly widespread to widespread rainfall, along with thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds, is very likely to continue over Assam, Meghalaya, Mizoram, and Tripura for the next three days.
From May 24 to May 26, Assam, Meghalaya, Mizoram, and Tripura are all likely to get heavy rainfall.
East India
Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, and the rest of the region may have isolated to scattered rainfall over the next three days, along with thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds.
Hailstorms are expected at isolated places in Jharkhand on May 24 and 25, and in West Bengal and Sikkim on May 24.
Thundersqualls/gusty wind speeds of 50-60 kmph are likely at isolated places over Gangetic West Bengal on May 24 and 25.
