    Digital Desk: In the next three days, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicts isolated heavy to very heavy rainfall over East Central and parts of Northwest India, including the national capital.


    From June 25 to June 28, the IMD predicts light to moderate fairly widespread to widespread rainfall with isolated thunderstorms and lightning over the western Himalayan region. On June 25 and 26, isolated heavy to very heavy rainfall with exceptionally high precipitation is very likely over Odisha.


    From June 25 to June 28, light to moderate moderately widespread to widespread rainfall, with isolated thunderstorms and lightning, is highly possible throughout the plains of northwest India (excluding west Rajasthan).


    Isolated heavy to very heavy rain is expected over Jharkhand on June 25 and 26; isolated heavy rain is also expected over Gangetic West Bengal on June 25, and in Assam and Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura from June 25 to June 28, and Arunachal Pradesh on June 28.


    Light to moderate and fairly widespread to widespread rainfall with isolated heavy to very heavy falls, thunderstorms, and lightning is forecast throughout the region (Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Vidarbha) over the next 5 days. Isolated exceptionally heavy rainfall is expected in east Madhya Pradesh on June 26 and 27, and in west Madhya Pradesh on June 27, reported IMD.


    The weather service in South India projected mild to moderate, scattered to fairly widespread rainfall with isolated thunderstorms and lightning over the region (excluding Tamil Nadu) over the next 5 days. On June 27, isolated heavy to very heavy rainfall is also possible over Kerala.


    From June 25 to June 28, the IMD expected the light to be moderate and fairly widespread to widespread rainfall, with thunderstorms and lightning quite possible over Konkan & Goa and Madhya Maharashtra.
