According to experts, unseasonal rains in March, April, May, and June affected the country's electricity consumption. However, they stated that electricity consumption growth was not as terrible in June as it was in July.
Rains lowered electricity demand since individuals used fewer cooling appliances than the previous year, according to experts.
However, they stated that electricity consumption and demand increased in July due to excessively humid weather, which led to the use of cooling appliances such as air conditioners for longer hours every day.
Further, experts predicted that power consumption and demand would increase in August due to continued economic improvement and high humidity levels.
