    India reports 21, 257 new COVID-19 cases

    New Delhi: During the last 24 hours, India has reported 21,257 new coronavirus cases. This is only five percent lower than the previous day. This also takes the total tally of cases to around 4,50,127.





    As far as deaths are concerned, 271 new deaths have been reported so far. This takes the total death tally to 4.5 lakhs in the country.
    The current recovery rate stands at 97.96 per cent, which is also the highest since March 2020.

    However, according to the health department of the Government of India, the daily increase of cases has been below 30, 000 for 14 straight days.





    In terms of tasting, 13,85, 706 tests were carried out on Thursday. This takes the total number of tests in the country to 58,00,43,190.





    Alternatively, India has also administrated over 93 crore vaccines as of now.
