Digital Desk: Former media executive Indrani Mukerjea said on Friday that a woman resembling her daughter Sheena Bora was seen at the Guwahati airport in Assam and requested a court to obtain CCTV footage from the airport.

According to reports, Mukerjea has filed a petition in a special CBI court, which is supported by affidavits from her lawyers who claim to have seen a woman who resembles Bora at the airport on Thursday morning.
In response to her petition, the court has directed the CBI to file its reply to Mukerjea's plea.
Back in April 2012, Sheena Bora (24) was allegedly strangled to death in a moving car by Indrani Mukerjea, her then-driver Shyamvar Rai and former husband Sanjeev Khanna. According to the CBI, she was murdered over a financial disagreement, and her body was burned in a forest in the Raigad district.
Bora was Mukerjea's daughter from a previous relationship. The alleged murder was unearthed in 2015 after Rai was arrested in another case.
Peter Mukerjea, Indrani Mukerjea's husband and former media baron, was also detained in the case for allegedly being a part of the conspiracy. He was granted bail by the Bombay High Court in February 2020, while Indrani Mukerjea got relief in May last year from the Supreme Court.
