Digital Desk: The 71st Miss World pageant will be held in Kashmir in December, Miss World CEO Julia Eric Morely revealed on Monday. “Truthfully, I am so happy. It is emotional for us, to see such beauty,” Morely, who is visiting Kashmir, addressed the media.
On Monday, the 71st Miss World 2023 press conference took place in Kashmir, India.
The following was made public on Tuesday in Srinagar during a press conference held over breakfast.
Rouble Nagi of the Rouble Nagi Art Foundation and Jamil Saidi, Chairman of PME Entertainment in India, were also present at the breakfast meeting.
Miss World Karolina Bielawski, Miss India Sini Shetty, Miss World Caribbean Emmy Pena, Miss World England Jessica Gagen, Miss World America Shree Saini, and Miss Asia Pricilia Carla Saputri Yules all made appearances at the press conference.
Morely also stated that the Miss World crew would most likely arrive in Kashmir in November, with the event set to take place on December 8.
"We hope to see you soon in November. The show is scheduled for December 8. Thank you very much, Kashmir. You are lovely people. "God bless you, and we hope to see you again," Morely remarked.
Miss World Karolina Bielawska, Miss World India Sini Shetty, and Miss World Caribbean Emmy Pena experienced Kashmir's stunning scenery, handicrafts, and artwork.
"The hospitality we received was fantastic. It would be thrilling to see 140 countries take part in the event. Every region has its own beauty, but the kind warmth here has been astounding," Miss World Karolina Bielawski stated at the conference.
Sini Shetty, Miss India also asserted, "It is a proud moment that Miss World 2023 will be held in Kashmir. This is similar to Diwali in that 140 countries are going to India and participating as a family."
Miss World America, Shree Saini, and Julia Morley, chairperson and CEO of the Miss World Organisation, have accompanied the pageant winners on their Kashmir trip.
Notably, after over three decades, India will host the pageant show. The country last hosted the event in 1996.
