Digital Desk: In relation to a money laundering case involving the now-scrapped liquor policy, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) is anticipated to submit its first chargesheet against Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. Kejriwal will be included as an accused for the first time in this lawsuit.
The ED's action will take place in tandem with Friday's Supreme Court hearing regarding Kejriwal's temporary release in the liquor policy matter. In the liquor policy case, the ED would refer to Kejriwal as a "kingpin" and a major conspirator in the chargesheet.
According to the investigating agency, they have a money trail that connects to Kejriwal.

"On Friday, we will make the interim order (on temporary bail). On the same day, the primary issue concerning the challenge to arrest would also be considered," according to Justice Khanna.
The panel of Justices Khanna and Dipankar Datta rose without issuing an order providing Kejriwal interim release so he could campaign in the Lok Sabha elections, but Kejriwal was not granted any respite by the Supreme Court on Tuesday.
In order to avoid a conflict of interest, the bench had stated that it did not want Kejriwal to carry out his official duties if he is released on temporary bail.
Kejriwal was detained by the ED on March 21 in connection with the liquor policy case.
