    Digital Desk: Speaker of the Lok Sabha Om Birla expressed his concern over the frequent interruptions in Parliament. Om Birla won't attend sessions unless members conduct themselves in a way that upholds the dignity of the house, according to sources close to the Lok Sabha Speaker.

    Due to loud demonstrations, the Lok Sabha session was adjourned today. Speaker Om Birla did not attend the Wednesday morning session.

    According to reports, Speaker Om Birla was displeased with the actions of the Treasury and Opposition benches on Tuesday during the passage of bills in the Lok Sabha.

    According to Parliament officials quoted by news agency PTI, the Speaker has expressed his concern about the frequent interruptions in Parliament to both the opposition and Treasury benches.


    The authorities said, "The Speaker holds the dignity of the House in the highest regard and expects members to maintain decorum during proceedings."

    On Wednesday, the opposition members' demonstrations over the Manipur issue interrupted the Lok Sabha's business. During Question Hour, a sizable number of opposition members were in the House's well, shouting slogans and holding placards.

    Prime Minister Narendra Modi was asked for a statement on the situation in Manipur, which has been impacted by months of ethnic violence, by opposition lawmakers.
