What! Man loses tongue to snake bite after following astrologer's advice
The doctors treated Raja for his severed tongue and provided him an antidote for the snake venom, Manian Medical Center's managing director Senthil Kumaran said.

Digital Desk: A man in Tamil Nadu's Erode district lost his tongue earlier this month as a result of an astrologer's advice going wrong after being bitten by a snake. The victim, known as 54-year-old Raja from Kopichettipalayam, frequently dreamt of being bitten by a snake when he decided to approach an astrologer.

The astrologer suggested Raja visit a temple dedicated to snakes and engage in some rituals as a cure for his nasty dreams. As instructed, the farmer visited the temple and performed the rituals. At the conclusion, Raja stretched his tongue out three times in front of Russell's Viper, and the deadly snake quickly bit his tongue.

When the temple priest spotted him, he chopped off his tongue and immediately took him to the Erode Manian Medical Center, where he treated patients. The man also fell unconscious while he was being taken to a hospital.

It is to be noted that the doctors treated Raja for his severed tongue and provided him an antidote for the snake venom, Manian Medical Center's managing director Senthil Kumaran said.
