Man paralysed for 4 years, claims to be back on feet after getting vaccinated with Covishield
Digital Desk : A man from Jharkhand is making startling claims that has left medical practitioners scratching their heads. The 55-year-old man who has been bed-ridden from the last 4 years due to paralysis and had lost speech, says he is able to move and speak again after getting the Covid-vaccine.

The man’s claims have not only startled the medical fraternity, but have also left the locals amazed after seeing him move and speak again. The man identified as Dularchand Munda, hails from Salgadih village in Bokaro. He met with an accident four years ago, following which he was paralysed and unable to speak all these years.

However, a miracle happened and Munda is back on his feet. “Glad to have taken this vaccine. I can move my legs after taking the vaccine on January 4,” Dularchand told ANI.

“My voice came back and my feet also moved,” he said.

Dularchand himself stood on his feet and walked.

After being reported of this curious medical case, Bokaro Civil Surgeon Dr Jitendra Kumar said that he was surprised to see Munda walk and talk. He has asked for the constitution of a medical team to analyse Dularchand's medical history.

"Amazed to see this. But it needs to be ascertained by scientists. Had he recovered from a medical condition not more than some days old, it could be understood but recovering suddenly from a four-year-old medical condition after taking the vaccine is unbelievable", the doctor said.

"Accurate information and answers will be available in the coming days when the medical world will conduct research on Dularchand Munda's illness and his recovery", Albel Kerketta, in charge of Petarwar health centre, said.

As per reports, Dularchand and his family received the Covishield vaccine by the Anganwadi Centre’s worker on January. Dularchand was able to move his lifeless body the very next day of getting vaccinated.
