The senior Aam Aadmi Party leader was not implicated in any documentary evidence of receiving bribes, according to Sisodia's attorney, and the change in excise policy was simply an ordinary occurrence.
The former Delhi Deputy CM is not a flight risk, according to Sisodia's attorney, and his incarceration-based questioning is no longer necessary. He continued by saying that Sisodia had assisted the agency's investigation and that evidence had been found during searches.

According to the CBI attorney, if Sisodia is revealed, the investigation will be jeopardised and the agency has 60 days to file a chargesheet.

The CBI detained Sisodia on February 26 concerning the Delhi Excise Policy case. His agency's legal custody was extended on Monday until April 3.
