The country has to decide whether they want a PM who does business or a PM who protects the country...
Kejriwal in the Delhi Assembly alleged that, “For the last 9 years, the PM has remained silent on sensitive issues whether it is violence-hit Manipur or the China issue."
On July 20, more than two and a half months after ethnic violence erupted in the North Eastern state of Manipur, the Prime Minister ended his long period of silence by denouncing the alleged parade of two naked women. Later, he addressed the issue during a No-confidence motion in the Lok Sabha.
Kejriwal stated, “Today Manipur is burning, their two communities are fighting with each other, and women are facing difficulties to survive. If the people of the country keep fighting like this then how will India become a ‘Vishwguru’?.”
He said, “People were killed, people left homeless, and the daughters of Manipur were paraded naked but PM of India Narendra Modi remained silent. Even a clash took place between Central forces and local police, but PM was silent."
In an attempt to corner the PM, Kejriwal claimed that while people may not remember the PM for every problem, they do seek his assistance on sensitive matters. “BJP people say Modi ji is the first PM who visited the North East 50 times. He is such a relative who comes every day in happy times and turns away in difficult times,” Kejriwal said.
Speaking on the charges of sexual harassment made by women wrestlers, Kejriwal stated, “The women wrestlers wanted to hear some words from Modi ji that don’t worry, I will not spare those who do wrong but he remained silent. Finally, the daughters had to go to the SC to file the FIR.”
“The country has to decide whether they want a PM who does business or a PM who respects and protects the country,” said CM Kejriwal.
