Giving a reality check, a huge crowd is witnessed in various parts of Assam daily, where the ‘Omicron Assam Scare’ remains largely by a word of mouth, as many are seen not adhering to Covid appropriate behaviour. Wearing of masks, maintaining social distance and cleaning hands with sanitizer, which combined will contribute a bit in stopping the infection from spreading.

Meanwhile, the national capital will see the above restrictions in place with immediate effect, after the yellow alert in Delhi, as the state battles a surge in Omicron cases.
