People celebrating Atiq's murder are 'vultures,' according to Owaisi, who wants a SC-monitored investigation

surrounding the murders of gangster-turned-politician Atiq Ahmed and his
brother Ashraf Ahmed rages on, Hyderabad MP and AIMIM president Asaduddin
Owaisi has lambasted people "celebrating" the crime and referred to
them as "vultures."

color:#0A0A0A">The MP labelled the crime a "cold-blooded murder" in a
statement to the media.

color:#0A0A0A">"The BJP government in Uttar Pradesh has a hand in
this." A committee should be constituted and an investigation should be
conducted under the supervision of the Supreme Court. The committee should not
include any officers from Uttar Pradesh. This was a 'cold-blooded' murder,
according to Owaisi.

color:#0A0A0A">He also turned to Twitter to say that Atiq was the second former
Muslim MP to be "murdered without impunity."

Atiq Ahmed represented the Phulpur Lok Sabha constituency.

the 6th Lok Sabha. Following the Godhra tragedy, he was killed by a mob in the
Gulbarg Society massacre on February 28, 2002.

incident raises serious concerns about the state of law and order.

said that the BJP in Uttar Pradesh is running the government by the rule of

the resignation of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

brother were detained by police." He was restrained by handcuffs. JSR (Jai
Shri Ram) chants were also heard. Both were murdered as a result of Yogi's law

brother, Ashraf Ahmed, were assassinated on Saturday while being taken for a
medical check in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, only days after their son Asad was
killed in an encounter in Jhansi.

in the 2005 murder of Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) MLA Raju Pal, as well as the
