    RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav admitted to emergency ward of AIIMS

    New Delhi: Rashtriya Janata Dal chief and former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav was admitted to the emergency department of AIIMS, Delhi yesterday, after complaining of fever.





    The hospital authorities have reported that the veteran politician is now in stable condition. His blood samples have been sent for investigations and reports are awaited for the same, a source said.

    Yadav, who lives with his daughter Misa in Delhi, suffers from a number of ailments, including diabetes and renal issues, and has been under strict medical supervision for a long time.





    The former Bihar Chief Minister, who was undergoing treatment at Ranchi's Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences for two years, was moved to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in Delhi in January.





    Lalu Prasad Yadav had returned to Bihar last month after over 3 years. The Jharkhand High Court, earlier in April, granted bail to Mr Yadav.
