Farmers in Karnataka protested load shedding by bringing a crocodile they found in a field to a power company office...
Digital Desk: Farmers in Karnataka's Vijayapura district carried a crocodile to the Hubli Electricity Supply Company Limited (HESCOM) office on October 19 (Thursday) to protest load shedding.
The farmers discovered the big crocodile in a field near Ronihala hamlet, then tied it up and transported it to the power plant, where HESCOM officials were present.
Farmers allegedly questioned HESCOM officials about what they would do if someone was bitten by a snake, scorpion, or crocodile and died during the night.

They paraded the crocodile in front of HESCOM officials, demanding uninterrupted three-phase power during daylight hours since their crops were wilting.
Forest officials later rescued the crocodile and reintroduced it into the Almatti River.
The question of load shedding, on the other hand, remains unsolved.
