Rajasthan minister gets death threat for 'forcing tribals to convert to Hinduism', FIR registered

Digital Desk: A recent incident has shaken Rajasthan's political landscape as an unidentified individual issued death threats to Rajasthan cabinet minister, Babulal Kharadi, through social media. The alarming threat, given via the comments section of Kharadi's Instagram account, warned of dire consequences, indicating that while politics would persist, Kharadi would be targeted first, with repercussions preceding the Lok Sabha elections.

The comment, which accused Kharadi of coercing tribals into converting to Hinduism, was brought to light by Kharadi's son, prompting immediate action. The minister and his son swiftly reported the threat to the police and district administration, initiating a thorough investigation.

Law enforcement agencies are diligently working to trace the IP address associated with the threatening comment, deploying teams and heightening alertness to identify the perpetrator. Pending the assessment of the threat, security measures for Kharadi may be bolstered.

Regrettably, this isn't the first instance of Kharadi facing such threats. Previously, he encountered a similar situation via WhatsApp. Similarly, Sheo MLA Ravindra Singh Bhati from Barmer-Jaisalmer also faced a threat, resulting in the arrest of the culprit by local authorities and an enhancement of security measures.

These incidents underscore the growing concern over the safety of politicians and the urgent need for robust security protocols to safeguard public servants from intimidation and violence.
