Republic Day 2023 President Speech Date and Time: This year's Republic Day's chief guest will be Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi...

Digital Desk: President Droupadi Murmu will address the nation on Wednesday, on the eve of the 74th Republic Day, her maiden speech on the occasion.

At 7 p.m., the President's speech will be broadcast simultaneously by all of the country's television and radio (AIR) stations.  The speech will later be broadcast in regional languages. In a press statement, Rashtrapati Bhavan stated that the speech would be telecast at 7:30 am in the local language. On January 26th, India will celebrate its 74th Republic Day.

"The address will be broadcast from 1900 hrs on the entire national network of All India Radio (AIR), and telecast over all channels of Doordarshan in Hindi followed by the English version," according to a Rashtrapati Bhavan statement.

On the duty path, the armed forces will hold a grand procession. Numerous contingents, including the army, paramilitary, NCC, and others, will march in the procession. The main attraction for traffic will be Tableaus representing various state governments and centre departments. Children's cultural programs, motorcycle and aerial displays, and an army band's beating retreat will all add to Republic Day's glitz.

This year's Republic Day's chief guest will be Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi. Along with them, five Egyptian ministers and senior government officials will take part in the Republic Day celebrations. It has been 75 years since India and Egypt established diplomatic relations. In this regard, the visit of the Egyptian President to India is also significant. This time, the "G-20" alliance is being presided over by India. India has invited Egypt as a guest country.

In many ways, this year's Republic Day will be different from previous years. The procession will this time take place on the Duty Path rather than the Rajpath, which is the first change. In addition, special guests such as labourers, vegetable sellers, and autorickshaw drivers will take part. Only 32,000 people were permitted to view the parade this time, compared to 1.25 lakh who were allowed to do so before Corona. This is the first time that all of the officers who will attend the celebration have received an invitation through email.

This is the first time the Air Force's Garuda Special Force will be on duty. quadron Leader PS Jaitawat said it consisted of eight teams of Central Vista project workers, duty line operators, vegetable vendors, rickshaw pullers, small grocery shop owners, milk-booth workers and school band competition finalists.

The Egyptian Army will also participate in India's Republic Day celebration on January 26. A 144-person military force from Egypt will take part in the parade.
