Rajasthan: Twelve days are given for winter vacation in Rajasthan schools. Statewide winter vacation has begun on December 25 and lasts through January 5, 2023. This year, the Rajasthan board reduced the number of summer vacation days and increased the number of winter vacation days.
Delhi: As part of the winter break, the Delhi government has declared that all schools in Delhi will be closed from January 1 to January 12. According to a notice issued by the state government, all public schools will be closed from January 1 to January 12, 2023, for the duration of the winter break, according to the directives of the Directorate of Education. Remedial classes will only be offered in schools to students from grades 9th to 12th from January 2 to January 14.
Uttar Pradesh: Several districts in Uttar Pradesh have adjusted their school timetables as a result of the extreme cold and thick fog. The Ghaziabad District Magistrate has directed all primary and secondary schools, madrasa education boards, Sanskrit schools, and council schools to begin all courses at 9 am to ensure student safety. This is since numerous accidents involving poor vision have been reported.
