Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend the valedictory function at Delhi's Vigyan Bhawan on November 25.

Former President Ram Nath Kovind launched Borphukan's birth anniversary celebrations in February, laying the groundwork for a 150-foot bronze statue of the legendary commander being built near Assam's Teok.
