Digital Desk: Every political party is throwing out their manifestos for the upcoming Uttar Pradesh (UP) assembly elections 2022. On Thursday, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) displayed their manifesto for the UP assembly elections 2022.
During the release of their manifesto, APP stated that they would be providing free bus services for women. Moreover, 300 units of free electricity and a round-the-clock power supply in the state.
The 'Kejriwal Guarantee Card' was released at a press conference by Sanjay Singh, AAP's Uttar Pradesh in-charge.
Apart from pledges like free bus services, and electricity units, the party also made other promises ahead of the polls. It even pledged to execute a law to secure minimum support price (MSP) for farmers' produce.
"We will waive off all farm loans and supply farmers the price of their produce within 24 hours. The (MSP) costs of sugarcane will be raised every year and earnings will be provided to a farmer the point he unpacks the sugarcane in the mills," the manifesto noted.
The farmers of Uttar Pradesh have been facing MSP issues and due payments. APP has targeted this sector to gain vote banks in the upcoming UP assembly elections 2022.
Additionally, APP promised compensation at a rate of ₹ 50,000 per hectare in case of failure of the produce of farmers due to unfavourable climate situations like drought or floods.
After waving through the farmers women, AAP also noted soft-soaping the state's young generation by constructing employment promises.
AAP promised 10 lakh government jobs, recruitment of 97,000 teachers and guaranteed 80 per cent reservation for local youths in state government jobs.
Moreover, government employees were promised to reinstate the old pension plan. The party also promised to resolve the problems of over 45,000 constables of Prantiya Raksha Dal (PRD), a voluntary force.
The manifesto released by the party further added that 10lakh insurance would be made for the journalist of the state. The party has tried to cover almost every sphere of society while constructing promises for the upcoming UP assembly elections 2022.
