Vande Bharat sleeper coach to be rolled out next year

According to a report, the first Vande Bharat train with newly created sleeper cars will be rolling out by February 2024.

Digital Desk: Indian Railways is prepared to roll out the Vande Bharat sleeper train with a new design, reports said on Saturday. Sources claimed that the Integral Coach Factory (ICF) and Bharat Earth Movers Limited (BEML) will be manufacturing the new Vande Bharat sleeper coaches.

According to a report, the first Vande Bharat train with newly created sleeper cars will be rolling out by February 2024.

The Vande Bharat sleeper trains will be an important addition to the Indian Railways fleet since they will enable passengers to travel large distances on these high-speed trains overnight.

The indigenous semi-light-speed train seeks to give passengers a whole new travelling experience and is seen as a symbol of an innovative and independent India. It is thought that this train's defining characteristics are speed, safety, and service.

The Vande Bharat Express guarantees passengers a comfortable trip because it is outfitted with top-notch features. On February 15, 2019, Prime Minister Narendra Modi signaled the start of the first Vande Bharat Express between New Delhi and Varanasi. The train set, which was manufactured at the Integral Coach Factory (ICF) in Chennai, serves as a representation of the 'Make-In-India' effort and highlights India's engineering expertise.

Midway through 2017, the project to manufacture domestic semi-high-speed train sets got underway, and ICF Chennai finished Train-18 in 18 months. In January 2019, the nation's first semi-high-speed train, Vande Bharat Express, was introduced. The train's top speed between Kota and Sawai Madhopur was 180 kph.
