Digital Desk: RSS president Mohan Bhagwat stressed the importance of 'sadhana' on Tuesday, saying that becoming a global leader is impossible without full dedication, determination, selfless service, and sacrifice. "Bharat cannot become Vishwaguru without sadhana," Bhagwat said.

He added that whether it is about bringing transformation into the lives of individuals or achieving the highest objective of becoming the world leader, we must follow the proper route put down by our founder RSS leaders.

Bhagwat was speaking at the YB Chavan Centre after releasing a book titled 'Setubandh an' an autobiography of Lakshman Inamdar, co-authored by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Rajabhau Nene in Gujarati in 2001. On Tuesday, Bhagwat released the Marathi edition of the book, named Setubandh.

"Senior RSS prant Pracharak Lakshman Inamdar's life and struggle is a classic example of simplicity and spirituality," the RSS chief said. In Gujarat, Inamdar was the prant pracharak, and Modi was the pracharak. The Prime Minister regards him in the highest regard.

The RSS chief also praised Lakhmanrao's tireless efforts, which helped establish the right-wing organization in Gujarat. While recalling his personal contact with Lakshmanrao Inamdar at the RSS headquarters in Nagpur, Bhagwat said, "He set an example of greatness through his daily work. Even though he was suffering from stomach cancer, he did not rest and worked even harder."

Bhagwat claims that the RSS has always believed in sticking to principles. "RSS functions within a structured framework and principles that cannot be compromised or diluted," he said.

While referring to the dynamite case (in which railway rails were blown) during the Emergency, Bhagwat said, "Lakshman Inamdar has never justiced violence. RSS has never promoted violence as a way of achieving anything."
