meeting that more than 20 crore households in India are expected to fly the

India's progress over the previous 75 years.

educational institutions nationwide to observe the Independence Day event by
raising the National Flag on their property on August 15 after 9 a.m. The
Commission further indicated that the flag housing ceremony might be held
virtually due to the current Covid circumstances.

institutions to encourage students to fly the national flag from the rooftops
of their homes.
