In order to begin the admissions process, the University Grants Commission wrote to the vice-chancellors of universities choosing CUET on Sunday.
Digital Desk: The UGC Chairman Jagadesh Kumar said that the results of the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) for admission to postgraduate programmes will be released on Monday.
Sharing the news on Twitter he wrote, "National Testing Agency (NTA) will declare CUET-PG results on 26 September (Monday) by 4 pm, required for Post-graduate admissions in the participating universities. Best wishes to all the students."
In order to begin the admissions process, the University Grants Commission wrote to the vice-chancellors of universities choosing CUET on Sunday.
"You are requested to make necessary preparations for admissions, including website and web portals, so that the PG admission process may be timely started, based on the CUET score," it said.
For the CUET-PG, about 3.6 lakh candidates—just over 1.8 lakh men and 1.7 lakh women—had registered. More than 55 people showed up for the exam.
It is to be noted that among the universities, in BHU (3.5 lakh), most of the applications were submitted followed by JNU (2.3 lakh).
