Delhi government schools will soon have CCTV cameras, and parents will be able to view the live video

Officials have stated that parents will be given unique secured login credentials with unique IDs and passwords in order to make live CCTV video footage available. All government schools will gather and furnish the PWD with information about kids and parents' mobile numbers, which will be updated in its software.

schools in Delhi, and the live stream would be made available to parents.

In
2019, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) administration made the announcement that it
would install CCTV cameras in all public schools and give parents access to a
live video of the classrooms.

carried out by the PWD to build classrooms and schools. The stream will also be
shared with the parents, according to the idea. This was all the idea of the
education department; we are just carrying it out, a source told PTI.

The process was difficult,

However, only parents who
have signed consent forms will be given login information.

According to a source,
"Principals would assemble the student records in an excel file and submit
it to the PWD, which will put the details in the programme, after gaining
consent from the parents and guardians."
