    If you intend to purchase gold or silver on Dhanteras, you should read this. Prices for both gold and silver have been falling in recent days.


    Digital Desk: Today is Dhanteras, the first day of the five-day Diwali festivities in India. Dhanteras, also known as Dhanatrayodashi, is observed two days before Diwali or Deepawali, the festival of lights. People buy gold and jewellery on this day because they believe it will bring wealth to their houses. 


    If you intend to purchase gold or silver today, you must know this. Prices for these precious metals have been falling in recent days. Traders thought that Dhanteras 2022 would see large purchases this year. Gold prices in the bullion market have fallen by $3,500. Silver, on the other hand, is 15,000 rupees cheaper, as per reports from Live Hindustan publication.


    The Indian Bullion and Jewellers Association reports that the price of 24K gold is $50,062 per 10 gm. On April 18, gold reached a record high of $53,063 per ten grammes on April 18.

    22K gold: ₹45,857 per 10 gms

    Price drop down of Silver: 


    According to the Indian Bullion Jewellers Association, the price of one kilogramme of silver has fallen by Rs 15,335. Silver prices had reached $7,890 per kilogramme on March 8.Silver is currently priced at $55,555 per kilogramme. 


    Silver prices closed at 55,555 on Friday, down from 56,042 the previous Friday, a drop of Rs. 487 in the previous week.
