given to women in honor of Raksha Bandhan.

Twitter on Wednesday that on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, ladies in the
state will receive free bus tickets for 48 hours.

On the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, Uttar
Pradesh and Haryana have promised free bus transportation for women.
Yogi Adityanath, the Chief Minister of Uttar
Pradesh, said on Wednesday that on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, free bus
tickets will be offered to women in the state for 48 hours.
According to Yogi Adityanath, ladies can ride
government buses for free from August 10 (12 a.m.) to August 12. (12 a.m.).
Manohar Lal Khattar, the Chief Minister of
Haryana, also announced on Wednesday that this year's Raksha Bandhan will
feature free bus rides for women.
ML Khattar announced today that ladies would
be given free bus transportation on Haryana Transport buses from 12 p.m. on
August 11 to 12 a.m. on August 11 as a Raksha Bandhan gift.
Ashok Gehlot, the chief minister of
Rajasthan, had also stated on July 29 that women and girls would be given free
rides on Raksha Bandhan in public buses.
On August 11, the holiday of Raksha Bandhan,
commonly known as Rakhi, will be observed to honour the relationship between
brothers and sisters. An official announcement states that within the state's
borders, female passengers will not be charged a fare in Rajasthan Roadways
buses, with the exception of AC, Volvo, and vehicles having All India Permits.
