    Govt sacks 3 commandos over lapse in security of NSA Ajit Doval: Reports

    In February 2022, a security breach was reported at the residence of Ajit Doval after a man tried to enter the premises.   Security guards stopped him, and the Delhi Police later took him into custody.

    Digital Desk: Three members of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) commandos assigned to protect National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval have been sacked by the Centre as a result of the security breach that occurred in February of this year, reports said.

    According to reports, the government has also reassigned a deputy inspector general (DIG) and a commandant rank officer who were responsible for NSA Doval's VIP protection.

    In February 2022, a security breach was reported at the residence of Ajit Doval after a man tried to enter the premises.   Security guards stopped him, and the Delhi Police later took him into custody.

    The reports further stated that the man driving the red SUV attempted to open the gate to Doval's high-security central Delhi home.

    The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) agents who protect NSA Doval's home stopped the automobile and apprehended the man.

    The individual, named as Shantanu Reddy, allegedly claimed he had a chip in his body and was under external control. However, the MRI scan turned up no signs of a chip.

    The Bengaluru-born man was psychologically unstable. Officials had stated that the automobile was rented from Noida.

    The top Z+ CISF commando category is responsible for protecting the NSA. At the time of the incident, NSA Doval was present at the home.
