The Anantnag Police has announced a reward of Rs 20 lakh for information leading to the arrest of three Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorists
Digital Desk: The houses of two local terrorists, Adil Thokar and Asif Shaikh, involved in Pahalgham terror attack were both destroyed by explosions during Thursday night operations in Jammu and Kashmir districts Anantnag and Awantipora.
As a native of Anantnag district, Adil Thokar , also known as Adil Guree served as a major supporter for Pakistani terrorists during their planning and implementation of the 22nd April terrorist attack which claimed 27 innocent lives, mainly consisting of tourists.
As per report, Thokar travelled to Pakistan legally through Attari-Wagah border in 2018, where he underwent terror training before returning to Jammu and Kashmir last year.
Security forces were conducting a search operation at the houses of Thokar and Shaikh because they were known associates of Lashkar-e-Taiba when sudden explosions happened. The buildings were destroyed by explosives kept inside the residences when security forces attempted to search them during the operation.
The Anantnag Police has announced a reward of Rs 20 lakh for anyone who provides information leading to the capture of Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorists Adil Hussain Thokar, Ali Bhai, and Hashim Musa. These three men are the masterminds behind the Baisaran attack, which happened at Pahalgam on April 22.
The security agencies showed on Wednesday how the three terrorists behind the Pahalgam killing of 27 tourists mainly used code names Moosa and Yunus, and Asif to conceal their true identities throughout the deadly mission.
The investigation into the Pahalgam attack network organization is an ongoing activity.
