Digital Desk: A large number of people, including Indian Air Force officers, thousands of villagers, family members, and local residents gathered at Tazeng Village of Arunachal Pradesh to bid a tearful farewell to IAF Corporal Tage Hailyang. The young airman was recently killed in Pahalgam's scenic spot Baisaran Valley of Jammu and Kashmir after a deadly terrorist attack.

The body of Corporal Tage was taken for cremation in a solemn rally through his native village. Before the final rites, officials read out a message of peace and strongly condemned the act of terror that claimed his life.
The funeral ceremony was attended by Former Chief Minister Nabam Tuki, local MLA Hage Appa, former MLA Tage Taki, the Deputy Commissioner, the Superintendent of Police, villagers, and family members.
Tage Hailyang, a resident of Ziro, was among the 28 people killed by the Resistance Force (TRF), a local offshoot of Pakistan-based terror group Lashkar-e-Taiba on April 22.
The IAF Corporal was vacationing with his wife at the time of the attack.
