    were hurt after a section of a housing society's perimeter wall collapsed here
    on Tuesday morning, according to the police.

    10 am, 12 people who had been buried beneath the debris at Jal Vayu Vihar in
    Sector 21 were all labourers.



    As police and fire
    department employees sprang into action for quick rescue and relief efforts,
    officials reported that several JCBs were dispatched to clear the debris of the
    fallen stretch of the wall that was situated next to a drain.



    "Twelve
    workers in all were extricated from the wreckage. In the course of the
    incident, four of them passed away while others were hurt "Ashutosh
    Dwivedi, additional deputy commissioner of police (Noida), informed PTI.



    Yogi
    Adityanath, the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, ordered senior officers to go

    present to supervise relief efforts, according to the officials.



    Maheshwari claimed that
    the tragedy happened when drain repairs were being made. "The Jal Vayu
    Vihar society is one with older buildings. The society itself also built the
    boundary wall, which appeared frail "She spoke.

    claimed that a contractor with the Noida Authority was completing work on the
    outside society drain at the request of the community.
