J&K government fired four employees, including Bitta Karate's wife, for participating in anti-national activities

Four employees of the Jammu and Kashmir administration, including Bitta Karate's wife, were dismissed due to their ties to terrorism.

Digital Desk: Following Article 311 of the Indian Constitution, the Jammu & Kashmir government fired four government employees for participating in anti-national activities without conducting an investigation.

Syed Abdul Mueed, the JKEDI's IT manager, and Assabah-ul-Arjamand Khan, the wife of top JKLF terrorist Farooq Ahmed Dar alias Bitta Karate, were both fired (Directorate of Rural Development, Kashmir).

Due to their involvement in activities that were detrimental to the state's security, these employees' activities had come to the attention of law enforcement and intelligence services.

The four government employees who were fired are listed below:

Farooq Ahmed Dar, alias Bitta Karate, is now being held in judicial custody in instances involving the sponsorship of terrorism, according to officials. She is the wife of Assabah-ul-Arjaman Khan.

Assabah-ul-Arjamand Khan, an official with the Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Services, was his wife and worked in the Directorate of Rural Development.

Assabah is a JKAS officer from the 2011 class and a fervent secessionist with close contacts to terrorist organizations and the ISI. During Karate's trial, she gained notoriety. The Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Science and Technology hired Assabah for the first time in 2003.

She apparently obtained an appointment by using a backdoor, and it appeared that the administration was in charge of her. She was fired in August 2007 after it was discovered that she had missed months of work between 2003 and 2007.

Additionally, according to sources, Assabah visited Germany, the UK, Helsinki, Sri Lanka, and Thailand while she was away from her job.

She was employed by the JKLF as a cash mule, and the inquiry has found that while she left the country via an airport, the majority of the way to India she travelled through Nepal and Bangladesh. She passed the JKAS exam in 2011 and married Bitta Karate shortly after.

SYED ABDUL MUEED, the son of Hizbul terrorist SYED SALAHUDDIN

The son of Syed Salahuddin, the leader of the proscribed terrorist organization Hizbul Mujahideen in Pakistan, Syed Abdul Mueed is the Manager of IT at the J&K Entrepreneurship Development Institute (JKEDI).

In 2012, Mueed was unceremoniously hired on a contract basis to work as an IT consultant. Sources said that laws were broken in order to nominate Mueed.

The selecting committee included at least three policemen with a history of supporting terrorism. Later, his contractual role was changed to a permanent one. In Mueed's case, no required CID verification was conducted.

At least three terrorist assaults were carried out in and around the JKEDI facility in Pampore between the time of his appointment in 2013 and 2019 (at least). There have been fatalities among the security forces.

According to accounts, Mueed was a key player in these attacks by providing targets and logistics. Young boys and girls who are visiting JKEDI to launch their own businesses have also been indoctrinated by him.

It's interesting to note that Shahid Yousuf and Ahmad Shakeel, Salahudin's other two sons, were also admitted into the government system in the 2000s despite flagrantly violating standards and avoiding the screening procedure. Both were fired, are currently incarcerated, and will be tried.

    Muheet Ahmad Bhat

Muheet Ahmad Bhat is a D scientist at Kashmir University's department of computer sciences. Muheet served as an executive member and President of the Kashmir University Teachers' Association (KUTA) from 2017 to 2019. He was instrumental in organizing student and street protests in 2016, during which approximately 100 people were killed and thousands were injured.

Muheet, as a KUTA member, distributed KUTA funds to stone pelters and some terrorist families. Muheet provided financial assistance to the families of LeT terrorists in January 2018. He also coordinated payments to the families of terrorists killed by security forces.

To avoid being subject to audit scanners, KUTA had carefully delayed registering as a society while still using financial channels. He is regarded as a pivotal figure in the radicalization of students and the dissemination of Pakistani propaganda in Kashmir.

    Majid Hussain Qadri

LeT's hard-core terrorist Majid Hussain Qadri was one of them. But before that, in 2001, he was an MBA student at Kashmir University.

According to sources, Majid met two Pakistani LeT terrorists in August 2001 and thereafter served as the LeT's point person for radicalization and recruitment at Kashmir University. He was then given the assignment to transport weapons for terrorists in 2002.

He began serving as the LeT's spokesperson in 2003 and did so until his imprisonment in June 2004. Additionally, a sniper rifle was found on him. He was held under the PSA for two years before the court found him not guilty.

Sources claim that between 2002 and 2004, Majid also carried out four terrorist acts by giving the terrorists logistical support.

According to sources, Majid was exonerated because the investigation and prosecution fell short. He was hired as a contract lecturer at Kashmir University in March 2007. His employment application was never forwarded to the CID for a character check.

In 2010, he was recruited to the Kashmir University faculty as an assistant professor. He is currently employed with the department of management of studies as an assistant professor.
