    Know the meaning of Sashi Tharoor's new invented word 'quockerwodger'

    Congress leader Sashi Tharoor always hits the bull's eye with his power to invent new words, which is a head-scratcher for common people.


    Digital Desk:  Congress MP Sashi Tharoor, also known as the word encyclopedia. He is always ready to create a new word and mesmerize the people; Tharoor, on Wednesday, again added a new word to his dictionary by tweeting it, the word spelled as- 'quockerwodger.'


    With his English vocabulary, Tharoor manages to mystify the web. People on social media adore Tharoor's use of difficult syllables, and many have nicknamed them gems from the famous "Tharoorosauras."


    The Thiruvananthapuram MP shared another such word in his most recent tweets, and netizens adored it. Quockerwodger is Tharoor's word of the day. According to the definition, the term, coined in 1860, is defined as a wooden puppet.


    However, the definition of the word implies a political connotation. Quockerwodger was a politician who acted on the orders of a powerful third party rather than properly representing their constituents.

    The tweet was liked over 2,200 times, and netizens speculated on Tharoor's motivation behind the tweet. While some Twitter users pointed out that it could be a dig at the current political situation, others expressed their delight at learning a new word.
