    programme has been discovered to contain a number of abnormalities, which,
    according to a document seen by The Quint, expose alleged high levels of corruption
    totaling more than Rs 100 crore.



    The state's own accountant general's private 36-page
    audit report revealed problems in the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)
    administration led by chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, including
    production, beneficiary identification, and quality control.



    The Take Home Ration (THR) programme, which was designed
    to provide wholesome meals for 49.58 lakh registered women and children, was
    where the most egregious anomalies were discovered in 2021.



    The recipients include 64,000 out-of-school
    adolescent girls (OOSAGs) between the ages of 11 and 14, 14.25 lakh pregnant
    and breastfeeding women, and 34.69 lakh children between the ages of six months
    and three years.
