Digital Desk: The Employees Federation of All India Backward And Minority Communities has called for a Bharat Bandh on May 25

According to Neeraj Dhiman, the Bahujan Mukti Party's Saharanpur District President, the bandh was called since the Centre failed to perform an OBC caste-based census.

He also brought up concerns about using electronic voting machines in elections and the lack of reservations for SC/ST/OBC in the private sector.

The Bahujan Mukti Party's interim state president, DP Singh, also urged people to make the Bharat Bandh a success.

The organization has been called Bharat Bandh for a variety of causes, including:

    1) Because of the caste EVM issue, the Centre did not undertake an OBC census. SC, ST, and OBC reservations in the private sector.

    2) Farmers should be guaranteed MSP through legislation.

    3) NRC/CAA/NPR opposition.

    4) Restart the old pension plan.

    5) In Madhya Pradesh and Odisha, separate electorates for OBC reservations in Panchayat elections should be implemented.

    6) Against the eviction of indigenous peoples in the name of environmental protection.

    7) Vaccination pressure that is imposed forcibly.

    8) Protest against the covert lockdown laws that were enacted against the workers.

On May 25, the organizations launched a social media campaign to shut down businesses and public transportation.
