Digital Desk: The parents of Muskaan Rastogi, the woman who allegedly killed her 35-year-old husband Saurabh Rajput with the help of her lover before chopping his body into 15 pieces and sealing the body parts in a cement-filled drum, sought harshest punishment for their daughter.
The woman's father, Pramod Kumar Rastogi said that she got addicted to drugs when her affair began with Sahil Shukla. He also supported the death penalty for his daughter.
Muskaan's mother Kavita Rastogi said that her daughter confessed her crime in front of her and her husband since Saurabh used to stop her from meeting Sahil and taking drugs.

According to the police, Saurabh, a merchant navy officer who returned to India from London to celebrate his wife's birthday was missing since March 4 from Meerut's Brahmpuri region. The accused, Muskaan allegedly mixed a sedative into Saurav's food, called her lover Sahil, dismembered his body into 15 pieces, and sealed the body parts in a cement-filled drum.
After the crime, Muskaan and Sahil left for a trip to Manali. During that time, she tried to mislead Saurav's family by messaging from his mobile phone, pretending he was alive.
Following reports of a foul smell from their rented apartment, Police discovered the decomposed remains nearly 15 days after his murder on Tuesday.
Both the accused were arrested and charged with murder and destruction of evidence. They were produced before the court on Wednesday.
