Missing pet parrot found: Owner gives 85K instead of 50K reward
The bird's happy owners increased the prize money and gave Srinivas, who successfully delivered the pet to them, Rs 85000, instead of the promised Rs 50000.

Digital Desk:  A pet parrot named Rustuma that went missing last week, has been discovered in Tumakuru's Bandepallya area. Arjun, the owner, followed through on his promise to reward anyone who finds his grey African parrot.

However, the bird's happy owners increased the prize money and gave Srinivas, who successfully delivered the pet to them, Rs 85000, instead of the promised Rs 50000.

On July 16, Rustuma went missing from Tumakuru City's Jayanagar district. The pet owner allegedly printed over 30,000 handbills and handed them out throughout the area in an effort to locate the cherished animal. This unique parrot was being safely kept by a person named Srinivas in the Tumakuru village of Bandepalya. It was perched in front of his home.

He later learned about the missing parrot. Srinivas' neighbours informed him that the parrot's owner had not only made the situation public but that it had also received media attention. He then called out to Arjun and returned the parrot. Since Rustuma has returned home, there is joy around the house.

It should be noted that the owner also attempted to find Rustuma with another parrot in the hopes that the pet parrot would respond to its partner bird. These two parrots were raised by Ravi, whose family is close to Rustama. They even celebrate the pet parrots' birthday every year.
