Numerous irregularities in case, says anti-drugs agency NCB in its vigilance report on Aryan Khan arrest

As per sources, "The investigation discovered numerous irregularities in the case. Questions have also been raised about the officers involved in the investigation's intentions.''

Digital Desk: According to reports, an internal Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) report discovered numerous "irregularities" in the investigation of the drugs on cruise case involving Aryan Khan.

The agency has identified "suspicious behaviour" on the part of seven to eight officers in its report.

This is a huge setback for the drug law enforcement nodal agency. Aryan Khan, the son of Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan, was cleared of all charges eight months after his arrest because the NCB admitted that no "sufficient evidence" was found against the accused in the case. Aryan Khan was sentenced to three weeks in prison for the allegations made against him in the case.

A Special Investigation Team (SIT) was formed to investigate the NCB officers' alleged impropriety in handling the Aryan Khan case. According to reports, the SIT has assigned this particular vigilance report to its headquarters in Delhi.

As per sources, "The investigation discovered numerous irregularities in the case. Questions have also been raised about the officers involved in the investigation's intentions.''

65 people testified during the investigation.

"The role of 7 to 8 NCB officers, in this case, has been found to be suspicious, prompting a departmental investigation. Senior officers have been asked for permission to take action against those who are not members of the NCB "an official was informed.
