    On the first part of his trip to three European countries, the Prime Minister touched down at Germany's Berlin-Brandenburg airport earlier this morning. PM Modi expressed optimism that the visit would strengthen the bond between India and Germany upon his arrival.

    The Indian diaspora in Berlin gave him a hearty welcome.

    Chancellor Olaf Scholz for the first time in person while in Germany. The 6th
    India-Germany Inter-Governmental Consultations will be co-chaired by PM Modi
    and Olaf Scholz (IGC).

    Indians were waiting for him, PM Modi greeted them. When the Prime Minister
    arrived at the hotel, many kids were there with their parents, raising their
    hands. Upon seeing the Prime Minister, the crowd began to chant "Vande
    Mataram" and "Bharat Mata ki Jai."

    him a picture of his face. He autographed the portrait for the young woman who
    described him as her icon and posed for a photo with her.

    I arrived. I'll be speaking at a community programme, connecting with business
    leaders, and conversing with Chancellor @OlafScholz today. This visit, I'm
    sure, will strengthen ties between India and Germany."

    with both countries' top CEOs at a high-level roundtable. PM Modi will also
    address the Indian diaspora in Germany.

    Partnership" between India and Germany, strengthened through three
    intergovernmental consultations (IGC). PM Modi and German Federal Chancellor
    Angela Merkel, who visited India, co-chaired the previous IGC.

    fifth IGC round took place. But unfortunately, the COVID-19 epidemic caused a
    delay in the consultations.

    there will be a significant and thorough schedule for PM Modi's three-nation
    trip.



    According to sources, PM Modi is also
    scheduled to visit Denmark on Tuesday to hold talks with leaders from Nordic
    countries. The visit will conclude with a stopover in Paris on Wednesday, where
    the Prime Minister will meet the newly re-elected French President Emmanuel
    Macron.
