President Murmu, PM Modi and other leaders extend New Year greetings

Digital Desk : As the world rings in New Year 2025, President Droupadi Murmu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari Congress leader Rahul Gandhi among others extend their New Year greetings to the nation.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended his New Year greetings to the nation. Taking to X, PM Modi wrote, "Happy 2025! May this year bring everyone new opportunities, success, and endless joy. May everybody be blessed with wonderful health and prosperity."

President Droupadi Murmu extended her heartfelt greetings for a prosperous new year. In a post on X, she wrote, "Wishing everyone a very Happy New Year! May the year 2025 bring joy, harmony, and prosperity to all! On this occasion, let us renew our commitment to work together to create a brighter, more inclusive, and sustainable future for India and the world."

Congress leader and leader of the opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi extended his New Year wishes to the people of India. In a social media post, he wrote, "Wishing everyone a very happy new year! I hope this year brings new enthusiasm, joy, and happiness to your life."

Nitin Gadkari, Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways, in an X post, said, "Wishing you a joyful and prosperous 2025! May this year bring abundant joy and good health to all."

Union Minister and former Chief Minister of Assam Sarbananda Sonowal in a post on X said, "Wishing a very Happy New Year 2025 to all. As we embrace new hope and new opportunities, may the new year bring good health, happiness, and prosperity to all."

Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad Yadav extended New Year greetings and told reporters, "Happy New Year to everyone. May everyone be happy and prosperous, may everyone be blessed, and work by eliminating discrimination."

Chief Minister of Bihar Nitish Kumar sent his greetings to the people of Bihar and India. He wished for happiness, peace, prosperity, goodwill, and success.

Sharing a few lines of poet Sohanlal Dwivedi, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra urged everyone to build something new in the era of great awakening. Her quote talked about the new beginning with hope.

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma extended his heartfelt New Year greetings to the people of Assam. In a post, he wrote, "New year means new hope, the beginning of a new one. May the new times light up all the doors of possibility."

Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge in an X post said, "My dear fellow citizens, as we enter 2025, let us reaffirm our commitment for inclusive progress, unity in diversity, social justice, equality, and the protection of our Constitution with unwavering resolve."
