Digital Desk: Punjab chief minister Bhagwant Mann will marry Dr Gurpreet Kaur tomorrow in a private ceremony at his residence in Chandigarh. Reportedly, AAP National convener and Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal will also attend the wedding.
“Tomorrow, Mann Sahab will wed in a private ceremony here. He’ll get married to Dr Gurpreet Kaur,” said Punjab unit chief spokesperson Malvinder Singh Kang.
Meanwhile, Cabinet minister Harjot Singh Bains tweeted, “Wishing my chief minister Bhagwant Mannji a very happy and blessed married life ahead. I wish them both lifetime of love, respect and companionship.”
Mann expressed gratitude for his good wishes in a tweet.
Notably, Mann will marry for the second time after divorcing his first wife in 2015. From his first marriage, he has two children. Currently, three of them live in the US.
Following AAP’s overwhelming victory in the 2022 assembly elections, the Bhagwant Mann government was formed in Punjab. During the state assembly elections, the AAP swept to power by winning 92 seats in the 117-member Punjab Vidhan Sabha.
