Qutub Minar Controversy: Delhi court rejects application over Qutub Minar land ownership claim
ADJ Dharmesh Kumar said that the court will hear arguments on the main suit requesting the restoration of Hindu, Jain, and Buddhist temples within the Qutub Minar complex.

Digital Desk: On Tuesday, a Delhi court rejected an intervention case brought by Kunwar Dhwaj Pratap Singh, who claimed land ownership of the ground on which the Qutub Minar is built.

The major lawsuit concerns the restoration of Hindu, Jain, and Buddhist temples within the Qutub Minar complex will be heard on October 19 by ADJ Dharmesh Kumar of Saket court.

Judge Dinesh Kumar informed the attorneys representing the various parties who were present through video conference,

    "Application is hereby rejected."

The lawsuit demanding the reinstatement of puja inside the monument complex was also scheduled for a hearing on October 19 by the court.

Singh addressed the court during the arguments on Tuesday and remarked, "I'm 78 now. I've been fighting for 60 or 70 years. I still possess the power of a sovereign ruler. Now, the sovereignty was supposed to be handed to the Indian dominion, but in my instance, it hasn't been.

In addition, the candidate identified himself as the ruler of the unified provinces of Agra from the sixteenth century.

"As a result, I am the rightful owner of this land. I was three years old in 1947. I was a young person. The government encroached on the region after it was established in 1947 without taking into account my right, "Singh stated.

But the Court emphasized that the issue at hand had nothing to do with who owned the property.

Lord Vishnu and Lord Rishabh Dev's attorneys, Hari Shankar Jain and Ranjana Agnihotri, filed the lawsuit on their behalf, asking for the reinstatement of the deities within the Qutub complex as well as the opportunity to perform puja and have a darshan of the deities.
