In light of the demolition of the Supertech twin towers in Noida Sector 93A on August 28, the Noida Traffic Police issued a traffic advisory/diversion plan.
Digital Desk: To guarantee smooth traffic flow and the safety of the general public, Noida Traffic Police released a traffic advisory/diversion plan in advance of the destruction of the Supertech twin buildings in Noida Sector 93A on August 28.
Before its destruction on Sunday (today) at 2:30 pm, the roads leading to the Supertech Twin Towers have been shut down. The Ceyane (29 floors) and Apex (32 floors) towers, which are a part of Supertech Ltd's Emerald Court project, were found to be in contravention of many building requirements.
Here are the rules/Traffic Advisory issued by Noida traffic police:
There will be a completely restricted route (from 07:00 am on 28.08.2022 till fulfillment of the movement):-
Restricted Routes include:
1 - Route from ATS Tiraha to Gejha Fruit / Vegetable Market Tiraha.
2 - Double road and service road from Eldeco Chowk to Sector 108.
3 - Double road from Shramik Kunj Chowk to Sector 92 Ratiram Chowk.
4 - Shramik Kunj Chowk to Sector 132 towards Faridabad flyover.
5 - Sector 128 to Shramik Kunj Chowk towards Faridabad flyover.
6- For a short period of time, traffic on the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway will be diverted while the twin towers are safely demolished (from 14:15 hrs on 28.08.2022 till normalization).
7- The Mahamaya flyover and Parichowk will be two major diversion points on Sunday.
8- Traffic travelling from Noida to Greater Noida via the Yamuna Expressway will be detoured from the Mahamaya flyover to Sector 37. This traffic will be routed through City Centre, Sector 71.
9- Traffic from Greater Noida to Noida/Delhi will be detoured from Pari Chowk to Surajpur. This traffic will be routed via Surajpur, Yamaha, Phase-2, or Bisrakh, Kisan Chowk.
Noida traffic police have also established a helpline number 9971009001 for commuters experiencing traffic problems.
