Tamil Nadu BJP leader slayed to death by unidentified assailants in Chintadripet, Chennai

The BJP leader was assassinated while the personal security officer took a tea break.

Digital Desk: Three unidentified assailants hacked Balachandran to death, the Tamil Nadu BJP Central district Chairman of the SC/ST wing. The attack took place in Chintadripet, a Tamil Nadu locality.

Sources claim that Balachandran was provided with a personal security guard (PSO) by the Tamil Nadu government because he believed he was in danger. While the PSO was having tea, the BJP leader was assassinated.

Reports state that three unidentified men arrived on a motorcycle and attempted to kill him. They managed to escape.

Shankar Jiwal (Commissioner of Police Chennai) said about Balachandran's death: "It's a murder case that involves previous enmity or angle. Eyewitnesses spoke out about the incident. To arrest the accused, we have created a special team. "I came here to check if there was any kind of lapse."

This case is currently under investigation. CCTV captured the crime scene, and officers from the police are looking into it.

Tamil Nadu Opposition Leader Edappadi K Palaniswami of the AIADMK strongly condemned the failures of the state police. "In the past 20 days, there have been 18 murders. "Palaniswami tweeted that incidents like these have made the capital a dangerous city and disrupted law and order, raising concerns about public safety.

Karu Nagarajan, BJP vice-president, Chenna, said, "I don't know if Chennai is Tamil Nadu's capital or the capital for murder. Is this the governance model of DMK? We have filed a formal complaint. According to police, the accused will be detained within 48 hours. If this doesn't happen, the BJP may protest.
