Digital Desk: According to officials, a man-eating tigress who is thought to have killed at least 21 people nearby the Dudhwa Tiger Reserve since October 2020 would now live out her days in the Lucknow Zoo.
According to Ashok Kumar, director of the Lucknow Zoo, the nine-year-old tigress was discovered with damaged upper and lower canines, making it difficult for it to hunt its natural prey. She has been kept in a zoo isolation unit for rehabilitation. Forest officials discovered four partially eaten bodies over the course of ten days in June alone and suspect the tigress of carrying them out.
