    Disturbing video of tourists driving SUV through Ladakh's Pristine Pangong Lake goes viral

    Some users urged the police to investigate the tourists who can be seen smiling while driving on the Pangong Lakebed.

It is a serene beauty that attracts many tourists every year, and Ladhak is a popular destination for adventure sports enthusiasts as it offers a variety of exciting activities.


    It is the adequate information provided by us; though Ladakh is unique among tourists and people enjoy it, at the same time, tourists should keep some rules in mind while visiting Ladakh.


    However, some tourists' reckless actions recurrently leave the area filthy. Video of such an incident went viral on social media as it showed three tourists driving their SUV in the waters of the pristine Pangong Lake.


    A social media user named Jigmat Ladakhi posted the video on his Facebook page. It shows an Audi SUV racing through the lake, with two tourists yelling from the car's sunroof.


    A third tourist is seen smiling as he drives the car.


    There are also foldable chairs and a table with bottles of alcohol, water, and chip packets littered in the video.


    "I am sharing another shameful video again. Such irresponsible tourists are killing Ladakh. Do you know? Ladakh has more than 350 birds species, and lakes like Pangong are the home of many bird species. While sharing the video, such an act may have risked many habitats of bird species," Jigmat Ladakhi said. 

    He also included a link to the Instagram page where the video was first shared. The video has since been removed from that page, but one of the other videos features the same Audi car.

    Many Twitter users were outraged by the Ladakh video, slamming the tourists' careless behavior.


    "Stupidity has reached its height!!" "Absolute nonsense," one user commented. Another user commented, tagging Ladakh and Haryana Police, "These troublemakers must be prohibited from entering Ladakh."


    Users tagged the Twitter handle of Haryana Police, because the Audi SUV had a Haryana registration number, 


    The video has received nearly five lakh views till now, and the video has received nearly five lakh views.
